We picked the Frigidaire FFEW3026TS for our kitchen in suburban St. Louis, MO, because we wanted a reliable wall oven at a fair price without smart features. Even Baking technology with a hidden bake element keeps temperatures consistent throughout the cavity. 4.6 cubic feet of capacity is plenty for our family. Self-cleaning cycle handles heavy residue without specialty cleaners. Fingerprint-resistant stainless controls are large and clearly labeled. Took off one star because there is no convection fan, so multi-rack baking requires rotating pans, but for the price this is a solid basic wall oven that does the job well. Recommended for value-focused buyers and rental-property owners. Two more notes from several months of daily use: the self-cleaning cycle handles heavy residue without specialty cleaners and is the main reason I would buy this oven again, and the hidden bake element keeps the cavity floor smooth so spills do not get trapped under a coil. The fingerprint-resistant stainless controls are large and clearly labeled, which matters when guests use the kitchen. The oven runs quietly and bakes evenly even without convection. Excellent value for property owners who need a reliable, easy-to-use wall oven without paying for smart features or steam cooking.
Installed the LG WDEP9423F in our home in suburban San Jose, CA, four months ago. The combination of true convection, built-in air fry, and steam cooking in a single wall oven is the standout feature. The air fry mode crisps wings and frozen fries without preheating a separate appliance. The steam function adds moisture for bread baking and keeps roasted meats juicy. The 4.7 cubic foot cavity is generous for a 30 pound turkey. ThinQ Wi-Fi connectivity enables remote preheat through the LG app and works with Alexa and Google Assistant for voice control. EasyClean offers a quick 10-minute steam-assisted wipe-down for light messes. Black stainless finish hides fingerprints. Excellent oven. Two more notes for anyone considering this LG oven: EasyClean is a quick 10-minute steam-assisted wipe-down that handles light messes without specialty cleaners, and the traditional self-clean cycle is available for heavier residue. ThinQ Wi-Fi connectivity works reliably for remote preheat and voice control through Alexa and Google Assistant. The black stainless finish is fingerprint-resistant and stays clean with weekly wiping. The 4.7 cubic foot cavity handles a 30 pound turkey plus sheet pans of sides. LG customer service has been responsive when I had a small installation question. Highly recommend for design-conscious cooks.
Installed this KitchenAid KOES527PSS in our remodeled kitchen in Brooklyn, NY, and the steam-assist has been worth every penny. Three steam levels handle bread baking, roasting, and reheating without drying food out. Even-Heat True Convection with the bow-tie element keeps temperatures consistent across racks. The temperature probe with auto-shutoff prevents overcooking on long braises. FIT System slid into our 28-1/2 inch cabinet cutout without modifications. PrintShield stainless actually resists fingerprints and smudges. 4.3 cubic feet is plenty for our family of four. Took off one star because the steam water reservoir is small and needs refilling mid-bake for long recipes, but otherwise a stellar oven for bakers. Two more notes from several months of daily use: the EasyConvect conversion system automatically adjusts cook times when switching from conventional to convection, which has eliminated the guesswork I used to deal with on convection baking, and the temperature probe with auto-shutoff is precise enough that I trust it for expensive cuts of meat. PrintShield stainless still looks clean between weekly wipes. The FIT System adapted this oven perfectly to our existing cutout without any cabinet modification, which saved us real money during our remodel. Steam bread in this oven is now a weekly ritual. Highly recommend for serious home bakers.
We love the washer itself โ quiet, efficient, and the cleaning is top tier. The 6Motion technology really does treat different fabrics differently, my wife has noticed her work blouses are lasting longer since we switched. TurboWash is fast, the steam cycles are great for freshening up between washes. My only complaint is the LG ThinQ app is a little finicky โ sometimes it takes a few tries to start a cycle remotely, and I have had it lose connection to Wi-Fi twice in 4 months. Not a dealbreaker by any means but the app could be more reliable. The washer itself is a 5 star, the app pulls it down to 4. If you do not care about smart features and just want a great washer, this is a no-brainer.
This is hands down the best appliance I have bought in the last 5 years. We run about 8 loads a week between my wife and three teenagers, and the LG WM4000HWA has not missed a beat in 6 months. TurboWash 2.0 with the twin high-pressure sprays is a real time saver โ I do not even use the normal cycle anymore. The drum is huge, I can fit a full king-size comforter plus sheets with room to spare. Steam cycles work great for the kids' sports uniforms. The drum cleaning cycle is automatic which is a nice touch. ColdWash actually cleans well in cold water, which has helped with our electric bill. If you are on the fence, just buy it. You will not regret it.
