My only complaint is the LG ThinQ app is a little finicky — sometimes it takes a few tries to start a cycle remotely, and I have had it lose connection to Wi-Fi twice in 4 months. Not a dealbreaker by any means but the app could be more reliable. The washer itself is a 5 star, the app pulls it down to 4. If you do not care about smart features and just want a great washer, this is a no-brainer.

You will not regret it.

Bought this from Best Buy in Austin, Texas in spring 2025. First front-loader we have ever owned and the learning curve was real — you have to use HE detergent (which I did not know) and the cycles run longer than my old top-loader. Once I figured it out, the cleaning is fantastic. The steam refresh cycle is amazing for shirts I forgot to put away, and the TurboWash 2.0 actually does cut a full cycle down to about half an hour. Build quality feels solid, the drum is gentle on clothes, and the door gasket has a self-clean reminder which is helpful. The only reason it is 4 stars not 5 is the price — you can find similar capacity from Samsung for a little less. But LG is reliable and the 10-year motor warranty is peace of mind.
