The Maytag MEW9527FZ is a 30-inch built-in convection wall oven with the brand's Power Preheat feature, which cuts preheat time so weeknight cooking doesn't feel like a wait. The 5.0 cubic foot cavity is one of the largest in Maytag's wall-oven lineup, comfortably fitting large roasts and multiple sheet pans. True convection with a third element circulates heat evenly, and the Precision Cooking system includes a temperature probe that signals when food reaches the right internal temperature. Best Maytag oven we have owned

Replaced an older Maytag wall oven with the MEW9527FZ in our home in suburban Denver, CO, and the upgrades are obvious. Power Preheat cuts preheat time noticeably for weeknight cooking. The 5.0 cubic foot cavity is cavernous and easily fits our Thanksgiving turkey plus sides. True convection with a third element maintains even temperatures across multiple racks. Precision Cooking with temperature probe signals accurately when roasts are done. Black stainless finish resists fingerprints and smudges with minimal wiping. Maytag's commercial-grade durability is obvious from the heavy door and solid racks. Highly recommend for buyers wanting a fast, durable oven with a fingerprint-resistant finish at a fair price. Two more notes from several months of daily use: the Precision Cooking system with temperature probe signals accurately when roasts reach the right internal temperature and has eliminated the guesswork of pulling expensive cuts at the right moment, and the black stainless finish resists fingerprints and smudges far better than our old stainless oven. The 5.0 cubic foot cavity is cavernous and easily fits a holiday turkey plus sheet pans of sides. Maytag's commercial-grade durability is obvious in the heavy door and solid racks. Highly recommend for buyers wanting a fast, durable oven with a fingerprint-resistant finish.

True convection with a third element maintains even temperatures across multiple racks. The Precision Cooking system with temperature probe signals accurately when roasts reach the right internal temperature. Black stainless finish resists fingerprints and smudges. Maytag built like a tank

We picked the Maytag MEW9527FZ for our kitchen in suburban Indianapolis, IN, because of the commercial-grade durability and Power Preheat feature. The 5.0 cubic foot cavity is cavernous and easily fits our Thanksgiving turkey. Power Preheat cuts preheat time noticeably for weeknight dinners. True convection with a third element maintains even temperatures across multiple racks. Precision Cooking with temperature probe signals accurately when roasts are done. Black stainless finish resists fingerprints and smudges, which is great with our kids. Took off one star because the control panel takes a few days to learn, but overall a durable, fast oven at a fair price. Recommended for buyers wanting Maytag reliability. Big cavity, fast preheat

Bought this Maytag wall oven for our kitchen in suburban Phoenix, AZ, primarily for the Power Preheat feature and large 5.0 cubic foot cavity. Power Preheat cuts preheat time noticeably, which is great on busy weeknights. The cavity easily fits our holiday turkey plus sheet pans of sides. True convection with a third element bakes cookies evenly across multiple racks. Precision Cooking with temperature probe signals accurately when roasts reach the right internal temperature. Black stainless finish resists fingerprints. Took off one star because there is no Wi-Fi connectivity, but for buyers who do not want smart features this is an excellent durable and fast oven. Recommended. Two more notes for anyone on the fence: the hidden bake element keeps the floor of the cavity smooth so spills do not get trapped under a coil, and the self-clean with steam option is far faster than the deep cycle on our old oven. We run the steam cycle about every three weeks and wipe the interior with a microfiber after cool-down. The control panel is intuitive and the small status display is bright enough to read across the kitchen. Overall this oven has earned its space in our home and I would buy it again without hesitation.
