4.6(5 reviews)

The KitchenAid KOSC504ESS is a 30-inch single wall oven engineered around the brand's signature Even-Heat True Convection system, which uses a unique bow-tie shaped element and a fan to keep temperatures consistent throughout the cavity. Five cubic feet of capacity handles full-size sheet pans and a holiday turkey with room to spare, and the SatinGlide roll-out extension rack lets you pull a heavy dish out without straining. The FIT System on this model adapts the oven to fit existing 28-1/2, 29, or 30-inch cutouts, which makes it a strong pick for remodels. The touch controls are responsive and the print-resistant stainless hides smudges. Perfect for serious home cooks and bakers who want reliable convection performance at a sensible price point.

FIT system saved the remodel

We chose the KitchenAid KOSC504ESS because the FIT System adapts to existing 28-1/2, 29, or 30 inch cabinet cutouts, and it slid right into our older kitchen in Columbus, OH without any cabinet work. Even-Heat True Convection with the bow-tie shaped element and convection fan keeps temperatures even on every rack, which I appreciate for cookies and pastries. Five cubic feet of capacity is plenty for our family of five. The SatinGlide roll-out extension rack is genuinely useful for pulling heavy dishes out safely. PrintShield stainless stays clean with weekly wiping. Took off one star because the touch controls take a beat to wake up when the oven has been idle, but otherwise an excellent oven. Two more notes from a few months of daily use: the SatinGlide roll-out extension rack has changed how I bake, since I no longer have to reach into a hot oven to pull out a heavy dish, and the EasyConvect conversion system is genuinely accurate when you switch from conventional to convection bake. PrintShield stainless still looks clean between weekly wipes. The FIT System slid this oven perfectly into our existing cutout without any cabinet modification, which saved us a meaningful amount in remodel costs. The temperature probe is precise for roasts. I would buy this KitchenAid again.

Bakers will love this oven

As someone who bakes several times a week at our home in Seattle, WA, the KitchenAid KOSC504ESS is the best wall oven I have owned. Even-Heat True Convection with the bow-tie element keeps temperatures consistent across two and even three racks, so cookies and pastries bake uniformly. Five cubic feet of capacity fits full-size half sheet pans from my favorite baking supply store. The SatinGlide roll-out rack extends fully so I can pull out a hot pan safely. PrintShield stainless hides fingerprints from my messy baking sessions. EasyConvect conversion automatically adjusts cook times. FIT System worked with my existing 29 inch cabinet cutout. Worth every penny for any serious home baker. Even-Heat lives up to the name

Bought the KitchenAid KOSC504ESS for our remodel in San Diego, CA, and the Even-Heat True Convection is the real deal. Cookies bake evenly on three racks with no rotation, roast chickens come out juicy with crispy skin, and the SatinGlide roll-out extension rack makes pulling out a heavy dish totally painless. Five cubic feet of capacity handles everything from a 25 pound turkey to two sheet pans of vegetables. The FIT System slid this oven perfectly into our existing 28-1/2 inch cutout without cabinet modification, which saved us hundreds in remodel costs. PrintShield stainless actually resists fingerprints. EasyConvect automatically adjusts cook times when switching from conventional to convection. Highly recommend for serious bakers. Quiet, even, premium feel

Replaced our old wall oven with this KitchenAid in our home in suburban Boston, MA, and the build quality difference is obvious from the first use. The door closes with a solid feel, racks glide smoothly, and the Even-Heat True Convection system keeps temperatures steady on every rack. SatinGlide roll-out extension rack is wonderful for pulling heavy casseroles out without burning my forearms. PrintShield stainless is genuinely fingerprint-resistant, important with our toddler grabbing at the controls. Five cubic feet of capacity handles our Thanksgiving turkey easily. EasyConvect adjusts cook times automatically. Deducted one star because the touch controls are sensitive and the lockout feature had to be enabled to keep our kid from changing settings. Two more notes for anyone on the fence: the hidden bake element keeps the floor of the cavity smooth so spills do not get trapped under a coil, and the self-clean with steam option is far faster than the deep cycle on our old oven. We run the steam cycle about every three weeks and wipe the interior with a microfiber after cool-down. The control panel is intuitive and the small status display is bright enough to read across the kitchen. Overall this oven has earned its space in our home and I would buy it again without hesitation.

Beautiful and bakes perfectly

Installed this KitchenAid wall oven in our kitchen in suburban Atlanta, GA, four months ago. The 5.0 cubic foot cavity is huge and the Even-Heat True Convection with its signature bow-tie element bakes cookies and roasts more evenly than any oven I have used. SatinGlide roll-out extension rack is a game changer for pulling out a heavy roasting pan. PrintShield stainless is genuinely fingerprint-resistant, important with three kids running through the kitchen. The touch controls are responsive and the kitchen timer can be set without opening the door. Fit into our existing 30 inch cutout perfectly. Build quality feels premium and the oven runs quiet. Very happy with this purchase.
